		The animated film Pictolove tells a love story in the manner of a movie. It is actualized by the means of several interrelated scenes and a maximum of complexity. With this pictogram- matic language I wanted to create entire worlds. Therefore I have gathered pictograms from different sources and tried to produce a romance out of these impersonal pictograms. It was very important to me to let the picto-persons move as human as possible in order to evoke feelings that pictograms usually don't convey. I don't use any words to correlate the character of brevity which is imminent to pictograms. I use sounds and music only to support the plot.
