		Linguaphon shows the depressing reality of the Everyday at the border between the actuality and the world of illusions. The perpetual tiring cycle of going to bed and getting up again is pointing to the sphere in between, the illusionary world of dreams of which the cinema can make use without limits. The animation uses simple 2-D techniques with cut-out photography and iconic illustration to uncover the illusion of the moving image. Linguaphon plays with the contrast between reality and illusion and ends in a scene that is only possible in the movies. The razor blade is cutting the face and eliminating it from the screen that turns into blank.
